Terms of use

PassMLO (passmlo.com) is an online study course for the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test. It includes lessons, practice questions and a timed practice exam.

PassMLO is exam prep only. It is not NMLS-approved pre-licensing or continuing education and doesn’t count toward any education requirement. We are not affiliated with NMLS, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, or any state regulator.

We work hard to make our content accurate and current, but we can’t promise you will pass the SAFE MLO Test. Laws and the test change, so always check the official sources we cite. Our content is for study only and is not legal or financial advice.

• You must be at least 18 to buy a plan, and give a real email address.
• Each account is for one person. Please don’t share your login. Only one login can be active at a time, so logging in on a new device logs you out everywhere else.
• Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.

Paid plans are one-time payments in US dollars for a set number of days of access. They don’t renew on their own, and we never charge you again unless you buy another plan. Payments are handled by Stripe.

When your days run out, your paid access ends. Your account, progress and any certificate you earned stay in place. The 3- and 6-month plans can be refunded within 3 days of payment if you haven’t started a timed exam, once per person. The 1-month plan is final sale. See our refund policy.

The lessons, questions, explanations and design of PassMLO are owned by PassMLO and protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal study.

You may not:

• copy, download in bulk, sell or share our questions or lessons;
• use scripts, bots or scrapers on the site;
• try to get around the limits on practice and exam use, or break the site’s security.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without a refund.

A PassMLO certificate shows that you finished our course. It is not a license, an NMLS credential or proof of approved education.

We improve the site often and may change features or content. We aim to keep PassMLO available at all times but can’t promise it will never be down. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.

PassMLO is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
